The current exhibit at Asia Society Museum of work by Wu Guanzhong, considered one of the most important Chinese artists of the twentieth century, marks the first ever showing of Guanzhong’s work in New York.

The works selected for this exhibition include some of his best work from the mid-1970s to 2004 and are a perfect representation of how Guanzhong was able to breathe fresh air into the traditional medium of ink while also shining light on the historical legacy of ink painting in China.

The Asia Society Museum presents the posthumous retrospective, Revolutionary Ink: The Painting of Wu Guanzhong, currently on view and continuing through August 5th.

We were excited to work with Asia Society Museum to help publicize and promote this exhibition to our art audiences in New York and beyond.
